Head of Productivity
David Chubak was named Citigroup's Global Head of Productivity in March 2013. He reports to CEO Michael Corbat and is a member of Citi's Operating Committee. David is responsible for driving the company's execution strategy across products, geographies, operations, technology and global functions. Working with Citi's management team, David defines business performance targets and leads efforts to improve client experience by re-engineering core processes and platforms. He serves on several of Citi's global strategic and governance councils.
David has helped transform several organizations facing rapidly changing technology, labor and regulatory environments. Prior to joining Citi, David was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader in both the Global Banking and Real Estate practices. For nearly a decade, David worked with leading global institutions and governments to shape their strategies, overhaul their operation and restructure their organizations.
David earned a B.A. with honors from Columbia University and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2006. He is an active member of the New York community, lectures at industry events around management and leadership, and serves on the advisory boards of several New York organizations. He represents Citi as a Corporate Member on the Council on Foreign Relations. David lives in New York with his wife and three children.
