Citi Launches Third Series of "Uang Anda" Financial Education Television Show


Jakarta – Citi and NGO partner, Yayasan Kelompok Kerja Visi Anak Bangsa (YKK VAB) today announced the launch of the third series of the popular "Uang Anda" financial education television show.

The 2009 series will be presented by a new host, Rizka Baely, a respected financial planner and consultant. Over 26, five-minute episodes, she will provide practical advice related to investment, credit management, how to identify the "right loan," and tips for business owners.

Speaking at the season three launch, David Gormley, Country Business Manager, Citi Private Bank said, "Thanks to funding support from the Citi Foundation, we are delighted to launch a new series of 'Uang Anda' – an important component of our financial education efforts.

"Based on feedback to our previous programs, the series very much meets a need and demand for basic financial management tips and advice remains strong."

YKK VAB co-founder Debra Yatim added, "The program appeals to a wide range of people including students, young professionals, housewives and retirees. One of the positive outcomes from past shows has been the demand for more information, especially related to credit card best practices, and many other finance-related topics."
