History Citibank (Slovakia), a. s., has been conducting business in all areas of banking and financial services since November 1995 based on a universal banking license issued by the National Bank of Slovakia. Citibank (Slovakia) a.s. is a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Citibank Overseas Investment Corporation, which is owned by Citibank N.A., New York. It is also part of the American holding company Citigroup Inc, all of which are now referred to under the global brand name of ‘Citi’. Businesses With more than 200 employees in Slovakia, we provide our clients with a broad range of innovative banking products and services intended for global companies as well as domestic companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, financial institutions, the public sector, and additionally since November 2002 for private individuals via our Global Consumer Group services.
