What is the Global Consumer Group in Russia?

In 2002, we launched our Global Consumer Group operations in Russia by opening our first retail branch in Moscow. We now serve over 400,000 consumer banking and credit card customers across Russia. In early 2007, we expanded the 60+ branch network to include branches in Samara, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don as well as those in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

 

What service to we provide our clients?

Our Global Consumer Group currently offers the following products and services to our customers:

  • Credit cards
  • Personal loans
  • Investment products including market linked deposits, mutual funds, structured notes and insurance.;
  • Multi-currency checking and savings accounts with CitiOne and CitiGold banking products;
  • Payroll packages for salaried employees;
  • CitibankOnline internet banking service; CitiPhone, the Banking Support Service available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year;
  • Citi Alerting Service, which provides subscribed customers with the ability to receive online information about their transactions and balances via email or SMS

Our Programs

The Program aims to accelerate professional development through rotations, projects, or assignments in various functions of the consumer banking business, thereby helping Management Associates to develop a strong understanding of Citi's businesses, markets, products, services and culture.
The Management Associate program lasts 24 months and includes four rotations in different areas, such as:

Credit Risk, Finance
Sales & Distribution, Marketing
Operations, Technology

The program offers a combination of on-the-job training, mentoring from a senior manager, and exposure to top leadership within the organization.

After graduating from the program, Management Associates typically take on a challenging position based on their strengths and interests as well as the needs of the business.

A typical candidate will have an undergraduate degree and an MBA. 

  • Significant 3-5 years practical experience    
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Russian  
  • Geographic mobility
  • Demonstrated success and initiative
  • Strong analytical skills, logical thinking, and good judgment 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Adaptability and flexibility 
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach
