What is the Citibank Global Consumer in Czech Republic?
Citibank a.s. has been present in the Czech Republic since the year 1991. In the initial years, the bank focused primarily on services for large multi-national corporations, large Czech companies and financial institutions.
Global Consumer Group consists of CitiBusiness, a division dedicated to serve the needs of Small and Medium-sized Enterprise segment launched in 1999 and Consumer Banking organization, which began to offer its services in 2001. The Consumer business has been showing rapid growth in all key areas including Wealth Management, Credit Cards or CitiBusiness for several years.

Our Programs
Management Associate Program
Citibank a.s. Management Associate Program was developed to bring to our organization high potential graduated talent. This 18 months program typically consists of three half-year rotations in different areas of the business including front-office function and an assignment in another Central European country.
Each rotation is linked to a specific project with full Associate’s responsibility for its completion. Except the multidisciplinary real-business exposure, we also provide our Associates with extensive training focused on development of financial sector- and project-specific as well as general management and leadership skills.
Upon successful completion of the program, we expect the Associates to have the skills, knowledge and experience allowing them to take over middle management of senior specialist responsibility within the organization.
Who we are looking for
The Management Associate candidate must be holder of MBA or equivalent degree and at least 2 – 3 years of business experience in an international company. We welcome candidates with both, financial and non-financial (e.g. industry, sales, IT…) background. The candidate should have demonstrated track record of leadership at school, in the business or community.
The key competencies required:
- Advanced English, any CE language a significant plus strategy implementation
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of at least basic finance and accounting concepts
- Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on approach, result orientation
- Central European business orientation, experience and intention to build a career in the Czech Republic or neighboring countries
- Integrity and high professional standards
