  1. The Global Banking division of Citi Markets & Banking encompasses the entire corporate client facing organization of our business. The Global Banking organization achieves the extraordinary for our clients around the world. Our client coverage is organized into three core segments – Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking. Each segment provides a different set of specialized solutions and advice for its clients.

    Investment Bankers serve as trusted advisors to our large multinational clients around the globe requiring complex solutions offering a complete spectrum of services such as strategic advice and capital raising services to clients. Capital raising transactions include initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, high-yield financing for leveraged buy-outs/private equity transactions, and investment grade debt issuances. Strategic advice focuses on mergers and acquisition transactions, company divestitures, and restructurings. Citi consistently ranks in the top three of investment banks globally in each major product area. Investment Bankers work closely with senior management and board members, as well as the working teams at various levels of its clients.

    Corporate Bankers cover the largest multinational corporations in the world providing strategic financing and assist in the delivery of our global network of products and services, which benefits from the strength of our exceptional local presence, differentiated global industry advice and expertise and complex corporate finance, capital markets, treasury and structured solutions. Corporate Bankers work with the CFO, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurers to provide Syndicated Bank Loans, Bond Offerings, Foreign Exchange services, Derivatives, Commodities and other financial solutions.

    A division of the Corporate Bank is the National Corporate Bank (NCB), which was launched as a new unit to strengthen our focus on those U.S.-domiciled corporate clients with revenue and/or market capitalization in excess of $500 million, many of which conduct a significant amount of international business. Providing national coverage that is structured along the same industry lines as the Corporate Bankers who cover the largest multi-nationals, these bankers partner with other areas of Citi to aggregate our middle market expertise and provide best-in-class solutions.
