Regional Service Centre (RSC)
Citi’s RSC is an award-winning processing hub that supports Citi’s securities & funds services operations in 16 countries in Asia Pacific. It is ISO 9000 certified and its focus on process excellence drives it to continuously enhance service delivery and improve customer satisfaction, earning it external recognition year after year.
Regional Cash Process Management Unit (RCPMU)
Citi’s RCPMU was set up in Singapore in 1992. It is the Asia Pacific hub for Cash Management Processing and a one-stop centre that designs and implements cash management solutions to meet customers' unique transaction needs.
With a staff strength of about 200 working in 20 time shifts, the hub processes Cross Border Payments & Collections, Domestic Payments & Collections, GIRO Payments & Collections, Payroll Processing, Global Clearing Plus, WorldLink/PayLink Checks, Liquidity Management, Customer Contacts and Investigation.
Roles of an Analyst
Positions available in RSC:
- Fund Accountant: You will be responsible for preparation of Net Asset Valuation of traditional long/hedge funds and fund of funds for Asia Pacific clients. You will review and investigate breaks in bank, security and other reconciliations, calculate income and expense accruals, prepare/assist in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements, calculate and disburse fees to the fund managers, administrator and other service providers. In addition, you will liaise with fund managers, trustees, and other service providers and manage client queries to ensure service delivery to clients and assist with special projects as directed.
- Custody Operations Specialist: You will be responsible for operations and service delivery including clearing, settlement, custody, asset servicing, and outsourcing operations to broker dealers, insurance companies, mutual funds, pension funds, wealth managers, private banks and other financial intermediaries. You will also work with product and sales managers to develop customized client solutions and be involved in process re-engineering projects. Day to day responsibilities include managing the day to day settlements/MIFT/FX-related transactions of customers in different markets, assisting in the implementation of new customers and asset transfers, updating customers on any market/ regulatory changes that may impact them, follow-up on corporate action events pertaining to customer holdings and ensuring the reconciliation breaks and discrepancies are kept in check.
Position available in RCPMU:
- Funds Transfer Officer: As part of our team, you will be responsible for the daily Funds Transfer Processing of the corporate/consumer customers in a Regional Processing Center. You will learn and perform the checking function of funds transfers. You will work in team and be an effective back-up for team members. You need to supervise staff and provide necessary guidance. You are required to follow up on documentation after completion of processing as well as participate in activities such as User Acceptance Tests and Projects. You will be exposed to handle inquiries from internal customers and thereby improve your problem solving skills.

Qualifications/Specifications for positions in RCPMU:
- Degree Holder
- Prior experience in funds transfer or other middle-office operations preferred.
- Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time-sensitive and high-risk environment.
- Great attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Positive attitude and a good learning ability and interest in building, sharing and improving their own knowledge base.
- Possess team orientation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in basic MS Office applications.
- Willingness to work shift hours and/or on Singapore Public Holidays will be an added advantage.
Recruitment Process
The selection process will typically consist of a combination of 1-1 or panel interviews. Overview of the process as follows:
1. On campus presentations by Citi in August
2. Applications submission by interested applicants through Citi website in August/September
3. Shortlisted applicants are invited for first round interviews in September/October
