My name is Aoiffe McGarry and I work in fixed income at Citi.  
In fixed income, we have our issuers, our clients, raise the 
money that they need, either through the debt or equity markets 
and we speak with corporations, sovereigns and financial 
institutions coming up with innovative solutions for their 
financing needs.  I've been at the desk here in London two years, 
having studied economics at University.  There's no doubt for me 
the best thing at Citi is the people.  It makes your job a lot 
easier and you get to learn so much, when you know that you're 
sitting beside the best in the business.  The seniors at Citi take 
a real interest in the juniors, not only advising you in how to 
best develop your own career, but promoting you and encouraging you 
to do the same.  There's no doubt that having access to senior members 
of the investment bank great, but the best is seeing people who you 
started with grow with you.  The opportunities, the training, they're 
there, not only for you, but for everyone in the firm.
