Citigroup Vice Chairman Deryck Maughan to be Knighted in Recognition Of His Contribution to British and American Business
New York - Recognized for his contribution to British business and commercial interests in America, Deryck Maughan was awarded the honor of knighthood by Her Majesty the Queen in the annual New Year's Honours List. Mr. Maughan currently serves as Vice Chairman at Citigroup, where his responsibilities include overseeing mergers and acquisitions and the firm's cross-marketing activities. He is also the Chairman of the Internet Operating Group and Citigroup Japan. He was formerly the Chairman of Salomon Brothers from 1992 to 1997, when the business was acquired by Citigroup.
