Citibank Greece Makes Significant Donation to Children in Need via “Mazi Gia To Paidi”

Athens – Citibank cards in Greece demonstrated its great interest for children in need for the second consecutive time by donating the amount of 67,000 Euros for the purposes of the confederacy of non-profit organizations for children, “Mazi Gia To Paidi.”

More specifically, the donation amount resulted from the following process: throughout January 2007, Citibank offered to “Mazi Gia To Paidi” € 0.15 for every Citibank Visa or MasterCard transaction made in Greece or abroad – aiming to help children that need more of our love and care. It is essential to mention that the contribution was made by Citibank, without any expense to the cardholders, providing one more important reason to use Citibank cards.

In order to celebrate the success of the donation activity, Citibank invited the children of “Mazi Gia To Paidi” to enjoy for free the play “Perseas and Andromeda” at Piraeus 131 Theater, directed by the famous Greek theater director, Ms. Carmen Rougeri. At the end of the event, Mr. Chris Vassiliades, business manager of Citibank Consumer Greece and division executive for Citibank Middle East and Africa, presented the check to the confederacy’s representatives.
