Citibank Pakistan Credit Card Makes Dream Come True for the Lucky Mercedes Benz SLK 200 K Winner
 
Karachi – A jubilant Citibank credit card holder, Javed Butt, cruised away in a jazzy red Mercedes Benz SLK 200 K Kompressor convertible coupe, in a ceremony conducted by Citibank for its “Win your Dream Car” campaign.
 
“Win your Dream Car” was a simple and exciting promotion. It offered both new and existing customers the once-in-a-lifetime chance to become the owner of a Mercedes- Benz SLK 200 K Compressor convertible coupe, as soon as they qualify for a new Citibank credit card or make a purchase using the card.
 
The campaign was launched last year on October 16, 2006. There were two ways to enter this draw; on sign up for a new credit card as well as on spend. With a spend of Rs 5,000 each customer was eligible to one entry in the lucky draw. Every additional Rs 5,000 was treated as a multiple entry. On the other hand, a new sign up had two categories; a Silver Card holder qualified for one entry in the lucky draw whereas a Gold Card holder got three entries.
 
The promotion expired on January 31, 2007 and lucky draw was conducted on February 15, 2007. Out of 1,042,000 entries the winner was chosen through a transparent random selection process. Javed Butt from Multan, a Citi Clear Credit Card holder won the car, which was handed over to him on Friday, May 04, 2007.

But here I am today, with my family, to receive the car keys and I can’t explain how big a moment this is for me. I never believed in miracles but now Citibank has made this miracle happen for me.
