(NYSE: C) February 25, 2008 11th Citi-National Taiwan University Lecture Series Launched with Financial Sector Outlook Seminar Taipei – The 11th Citi-National Taiwan University (NTU) Lecture Series was launched with a high level forum on February 20. Up for discussion were prospects and competitiveness issues for Taiwan's financial services sector in the future and notable guest speakers included: Dr. Hu, Sheng-Cheng, Chairperson, Financial Supervisory Commission, Morris Li, Citi Country Officer, and Professor Shen Chung-Hua, Department of Finance, NTU. The topics covered were "Merger and acquisition trends in the financial sector" and "Market competitiveness from the perspective of foreign banks." Following the presentations a question and answer session was also held with the students. During the introduction to his presentation, Mr. Li said the lecture series was launched to help students learn more about the financial services sector and the career opportunities available. "We are pleased and proud to have this opportunity to partner with the National Taiwan University for eleven consecutive years and today, the series is an accredited program. The series is also a good chance for our senior Citi managers to contribute to the development of the industry by providing lectures on a range of topics in retail, corporate, investment and private banking." Launched in 1997, the lecture series has been a big success among students and teaching staff alike and is one of Citi's signature education programs in Taiwan.
