Citi Peru Increases ATM network with Global Net
Lima, Peru Aiming to provide its customers with greater convenience in the making of their transactions, Citibank Peru announces its strategic alliance with Global Net, the largest network of automatic teller machines in Peru, in what represents the achievement of one of the key objectives for its consumer banking services for 2008.
Enrique Castellanos, vice president of Citibank Peru's Consumer Banking Division, maintains that this alliance will now enable the bank to provide its clients with more than 1,000 ATMs throughout the country, where by using their Citibank Electron card they will be able to make the following transactions: cash withdrawals, statement requests, and coin dispensers, at the same rates which apply to the use of Citibank machines. "With this measure we aim to provide a better service for our customers, in line with our strategy of increasing our customer service points throughout the territory of Peru," stated Castellanos.
This strategic alliance serves to reaffirm Citibank's commitment to Peru. Ever since 1920 the bank has been providing the very best financial services for its clients, always seeking innovations aimed at improving the quality of its products and increasing the range of its services in Peru, in keeping with the performance of the rest of the group throughout Latin America.
