Poland: Citi Handlowy Offers Credit Package for New Small & Medium-Sized Companies with "CitiBusiness for Start-Ups"
 
Warsaw – Citi Handlowy has launched a special offer for small and medium-sized companies that have just started their operations. As part of the "CitiBusiness na Start"/CitiBusiness for Start-Ups offering, companies that have been on the market for less than 12 months are offered a credit facility in the amount of up to PLN 10,000.
 
Citi Handlowy has expanded its CitiBusiness offer for small and medium-sized companies whose annual sales do not exceed PLN 8 million. The first year of operation is often the most important for the company's development and decides about its future existence in the marketplace. In response to the needs of companies which have been operating in the market for less than 12 months, Citi Handlowy offers them a business account at a competitive price and a special credit facility in the form of a credit card with a limit of up to PLN 10,000.
 
The "CitiBusiness for Start-Ups" offering is yet another step towards adjusting Citi Handlowy's offer to the needs of microentrepreneurs. "The possibility to take a loan, which we offer as part of our package, will definitely help start-up businesses to ensure stable financing of their everyday operations," said Krzysztof Markiewicz, Head of CitiBusiness Segment Management Bureau at Citi Handlowy. A credit facility for start-ups is granted in the form of a credit card with a 54-day grace period and a minimum payment percentage of 3.42%. Together with the special credit card, start-ups are given access to the largest in Poland discount program covering over 2,500 shops and points of sale.
 
The companies that will apply for the "CitiBusiness for Start-Ups" package will be additionally given a special business account which is fee-free for the first six months. As part of the package customers will also be able to make fee-free online money transfers to Zaklad Ubezpieczen Spolecznych /Social Insurance Institution/ and Urzad Skarbowy /Polish Revenue Office/ and fee-free cash withdrawals from Citi Handlowy, Euronet and eCard ATMs across Poland. An additional benefit for CitiBusiness customers is a possibility to open a Business Savings Account.
 
The CitiBusiness offering is addressed to economic entities and natural persons carrying out business activity, including representatives of free professions, whose annual sales do not exceed PLN 8 million. The CitiBusiness offering includes financial products and services in the area of cash management, trade finance and trade transactions processing as well as financing of current and investment operations.
