(NYSE: C) June 12, 2008 Citibank Co-Sponsors Harvard University's "Bangladesh in the 21st Century" Conference Citibank in partnership with Prime Bank Limited, MGH Group Bangladesh and the American Institute of Bangladesh Studies are the lead sponsors of the "Bangladesh in the 21st Century" seminar organized by the Bangladesh Development Initiative (BDI), Democracy and Development in Bangladesh Forum (DDBF), Boston, Massachusetts and The Ash Institute for Democratic Governance & Innovation, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. This two-day conference (June 11-12) at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government has attracted many distinguished speakers and experts. They will discuss the economic, social, political and environmental opportunities facing Bangladesh in the 21st century. The keynote speaker is Dr. Jamilur R. Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, BRAC University, while other notables include: Dr. Rounaq Jahan (Columbia University), Matiur Rahman (Editor, The Daily Prothom Alo) and Masihur Rahman (former Secretary, Government of Bangladesh).
