Thailand: Citibank Personal Loan Partners with True to Offer Market Low Personal Loan Rates
Bangkok – Citibank Personal Loan and telecommunications provider, True Corporation are teaming up in a new campaign to offer a market low loan interest rate of 0.73% per month (16% per annum) to True landline and Internet customers.
Mr. Sant Thaosuwan, Personal Loan Unit Head, Citibank said, "As one of the leaders in the personal loan sector, Citibank is pleased to launch a joint program with another industry leader, True Corporation."
Loan details:
- Minimum loan amount: B30,000
- Maximum loan amount: B1,500,000
- Minimum interest rate: 0.73% per month/or 16% per annum
- Maximum interest rate: 1.02% per month/or 22% per annum
Every approved customer will also receive a complimentary telephone and a free call identity service for six months. Mr. Phaibul T. Sirivanich, Director & General Manager – Consumer, True Corporation Plc, said: "The personal loan package will allow True hi-speed Internet customers to enjoy access to unlimited information and entertainment. Customers who apply for the personal loan will also receive a Reach caller ID phone CID99, together with free call waiting service for six months."
To apply, True customers must send appropriate documentation and information to citibank.co.th or call CitiPhone (1588). The special offer closes on April 30, 2008. This offer is applicable to True registered landline phone users who are over 20 years with a monthly income of B15,000 or more. Business owners are entitled to over two years of operation.
Interest for this promotion is accorded based on the approved amount; over Bt300,000 is entitled to 0.73% monthly (16% yearly), Bt50,000-299,999 is entitled to 0.83% monthly (18% yearly) and Bt50,000 and lower is entitled to 1.02% monthly (22% yearly).
