Points Accumulation

1. Club Rewards® is based on a point system. You must be enrolled in Club Rewards to receive Club Rewards points. If you are a Club Rewards base member, you will receive one (1) point for every eligible dollar charged to your Diners Club® Account(s). If you are a Premier Status member, you will receive two (2) points for every eligible dollar charged to your Diners Club Account(s). Points accrued are not your property and cannot be transferred by operation of law or to any other person or entity.

2. Base members with over $5,000 in eligible charges per calendar year will be upgraded to Premier Status. When a base member is upgraded to Premier status, one additional Club Reward point is earned for every eligible dollar charged after the date of Premier Status qualification. All Corporate Accounts enrolled in Club Rewards, all Company Card Accounts, Diners Club Carte Blanche® Cardmembers and Diners Club Montagesm Cardmembers enrolled in Club Rewards and certain Diners Club Charge Card Accounts automatically qualify for Premier Status.

3. For Accounts with multiple Cards, Club Rewards points will be accumulated on the Primary Card Account. Club Rewards points cannot be transferred to another individual or to any other Diners Club Account (or other charge card) at any time. For Cardmembers upgrading their Diners Club Charge Card enrolled in Club rewards to a Diners Club Carte Blanche Card, or switching from a Diners Club Charge Card enrolled in Club Rewards to a Diners Club Montage Card enrolled in Club Rewards, Club Rewards points will automatically transfer to the new Card.

4. If you are enrolled in Corporate Club Rewards, and also have a Diners Club Charge Card enrolled in Club Rewards, you may accumulate Club Rewards points in a single point bank if the Accounts are joined. Corporate Club Rewards Accounts may not be joined to any other Personal Card products. Diners Club Charge Card Accounts may not be joined to any other Diners Club Personal Card products. While Club Rewards points may not be accumulated into one Club Rewards Account in these situations, points may be combined from multiple Accounts upon redemption. You may accumulate Club Rewards points for charges related to your own travel or that of your immediate family or household members only. You will not receive any Club Rewards points for tickets purchased for a traveler other than yourself, except for members of your immediate family or household.

5. Charges that are eligible for Club Rewards points are airline, restaurant, hotel, car rental, service station, mail order, and retail charges. Transactions not eligible for Club Rewards points include, but are not limited to, Card fees, Additional Card fees, Corporate Club Rewards fees, cash advances, foreign conversion charges, insurance charges, unauthorized charges, and other non-travel and entertainment fees and transactions. Charges or transactions may be added to, or removed from, the above lists of eligible charges and transactions from time to time at the sole discretion of Diners Club. Any questions as to what constitutes an eligible charge shall be resolved at the sole discretion of Diners Club. Points will not be awarded for handling fees, late charges or delinquency fees.

6. Credits reflected on your Diners Club billing statements during the program participation period will reduce or eliminate the number of points available for Club Rewards selections at the same rate at which the charges accumulate those points.

7. Eligible Charges appearing on your Diners Club billing statements during the program participation period will earn Club Rewards points. Charges reflected on your Diners Club billing statements for a month or period other than during the program participation period will not qualify for Club Rewards points. For Corporate Cardmembers, charges reflected on your Diners Club billing statements prior to enrollment will not qualify for Club Rewards points accumulation (see #41). Points will not be issued retroactively for any such charges.

8. Fraud or abuse relating to the accrual of Club Rewards points or redemption of Club Rewards points, including, but not limited to, use of the Diners club account in violation of its terms, may result in forfeiture of accrued points as well as cancellation of a Cardmember's Club Rewards membership and any Diners Club account. Club Rewards is intended to be a service provided to an individual Cardmember, not a company or corporation. It is therefore considered fraudulent and abusive for any individual, company or corporation to direct, encourage, or allow any other Company Cardmember or a Corporate Cardmember or other individuals to use a single Company Card Account or Corporate Card account for the purpose of accumulating Club Rewards points for personal or company use.

9. Club Rewards points (including Premier bonus points) are subject to forfeiture as follows:




For Personal Diners Club Accounts (other than Montage), Club Rewards points earned in connection with purchases posted on a statement for a billing period beginning on or after July 1, 2003, are subject to forfeiture if payment of all amounts due shown on the statement (including any Club Cash Account® advances and Club Plus® minimum payment) is not received within two billing periods of the statement date.


For individually billed Corporate Diners Club Accounts, Diners Club Company Card Accounts and Diners Club Carte Blanche Corporate Card Accounts, Club Rewards points earned in connection with purchases posted on a statement for a billing period beginning on or after August 1, 2003, are subject to forfeiture if payment of the balance due (including cash advances) is not received within two billing periods of the statement date.

Points forfeited as provided in this Section only may be reinstated by (a) bringing your Diners Club Account current and (b) paying a separate $15 Point Reinstatement Fee for each monthly billing period's points you wish to reinstate. (For example, if you wish to reinstate points earned in three different billing periods, you will be charged three Point Reinstatement Fees ($45), whether they are being reinstated separately or all at the same time.) Points may only be reinstated if they were earned during the 12 billing periods preceding reinstatement.

Points forfeited on a cancelled Diners Club Account can be reinstated by the Primary Cardmember on the Account up to 12 billing periods after the Account is cancelled only if (a) the cancelled Account was current and in good standing at the time of cancellation and (b) the Primary Cardmember has continuously maintained another Diners Club Account with Club Rewards in good standing since the time of the cancellation.

Points Redemption

10. In order to redeem Club Rewards points, your Diners Club Charge, Diners Club Carte Blanche, Diners Club Montage and Corporate and/or Company Account must be open (meaning not canceled or terminated by you or Diners Club at the time of your redemption request) and current (meaning there are no Past Due balances on your Diners Club Accounts at the time of your redemption request). Corporate Accounts must be currently enrolled in Club Rewards in order to redeem. Points will be redeemed on a first earned, first redeemed basis. Upon any voluntary or involuntary cancellation of any of your Card Accounts, the canceled Account will no longer be eligible to participate in the Club Rewards program and all unredeemed points accumulated from charges posted to that Account will be forfeited.

11. If you have enrolled in Corporate Club Rewards, and you also have a Diners Club Charge Card enrolled in Club Rewards and joined to your Corporate Account, your points will be redeemed in proportion to the number of points accumulated in each Account. If you have enrolled in Corporate Club Rewards and also have a Diners Club Carte Blanche Card, or if you have a Diners Club Charge Card enrolled in Club Rewards and any other Diners Club Personal Card products enrolled in Club Rewards, points may be combined at the time of redemption from each Club Rewards Account and redeemed in proportion to the number of points accumulated by each Account. Points will be re-credited to the Accounts on the same basis.

12. For Company Card Accounts, only the Authorizing Officer may request redemption of Club Rewards points. Requests must be made in writing and signed by the Authorizing Officer.

13. Frequent Flyer miles must be redeemed in increments of 2,000 points, unless otherwise stated. Frequent Guest points must be redeemed in increments of 2,500 points, unless otherwise stated. All frequent flyer mile and guest point redemptions are final and non-refundable and are made under the rules and regulations of the program for which points are converted.

14. A fee may apply for Personalized Rewards transactions. Cardmembers must contact Club Rewards to initiate a Personalized Reward transaction.


Points Plus Charge

15. The Points Plus Charge option is available on most items and at any amount, and may be subject to credit approval. Points Plus Charge is not available for frequent flyer miles or guest points.

16. The charge portion of Points Plus Charge can be made only to your Diners Club Charge Card, Diners Club Carte Blanche Card, Diners Club Montage Card or to the Authorizing Officer’s Card of a Diners Club Company Card Account. A charge may be made on Corporate Card Accounts if such practice is acceptable to the Corporation. Corporate Cardmembers without a Diners Club Charge Card may also pay the charge amount with an automatic debit from a checking account.


Frequent Flyer Miles and Guest Points

17. All redemptions made for frequent flyer miles must be made to U.S. based frequent flyer accounts. Participating airline and hotel programs may restrict the transfer of Club Rewards points into the frequent flyer or guest point account of the primary Cardmember only.

18. The list of airlines and hotels participating in Club Rewards is subject to change, and may be discontinued, without notice. The airlines and hotels participating in Club Rewards reserve the right to change their frequent traveler programs at any time without notice. American Airlines and AAdvantage are registered trademarks of American Airlines, Inc.

19. All Frequent Flyer miles converted to Club Rewards points under the Miles-To-Points program must be made in 10,000-mile increments and are limited to 50,000 miles converted per calendar year per participating program. The conversion rate is one point for each mile converted. Airlines participating in the Miles –To–Points program are subject to change and the program may be discontinued without notice. Points converted from each Program included in Miles-To-Points are subject to the rules and regulations of each program. Please allow 4-6 weeks for miles to post to your Diners Club Account.

20. Single-Card Company Card Accounts established after February 1, 1992, and all Multiple-Card Company Card Accounts may not redeem Club Rewards points for frequent flyer miles or guest points.

21. Club Rewards points redeemed for frequent flyer miles and guest points will be credited to your frequent flyer or guest point account within two to four weeks of redemption. Frequent Flyer Miles and Guest Points may be expedited (guaranteed credit to your account in two business days) to select programs for a $35 fee or 5,000 Club Rewards points. Delta SkyMiles may be expedited for a $25 fee or 3,600 Club Rewards points.

22. A fee will apply to all Frequent Flyer mile redemptions and may apply to Guest Point redemptions. For every 2,000 Club Rewards points (1,000 frequent flyer miles) redeemed, a fee of $0.95, or 190 Club rewards points, will be assessed. These fees may be changed at any time without notice.


Travel

23. All travel rewards are subject to specific terms and conditions and may have restrictions, blackout dates, and exclusions. Certificates have no value except when used under the terms and conditions accompanying them. The terms and conditions of any travel offer may be amended at any time by Diners Club. Travel rewards do not include transportation unless stated. To review terms and conditions prior to ordering, call 800-234-4034.

24. Issuance of a certificate does not constitute a reservation. The certificate holder is responsible for making all reservations with the participating establishment. A certificate may be required prior to making advance reservations with the participating establishment. Diners Club does not guarantee availability of the rewards described in the Club Rewards catalog at specific locations on specific dates. Club Rewards certificates will not be honored retroactively in connection with any prior purchases. Please note that certain providers of certificates charge fees for inactivity. Accordingly, Diners Club can only guarantee certificates will be redeemable at full face value (i.e. no deductions for inactivity) for six months from the date of redemption.

25. Additional guests, destinations, or other travel arrangements over and above those included in Club Rewards offers may be added to travel earned through Club Rewards. If the travel reward is handled by our Personal Travel Consultants, you can make any such additional arrangements through them. Otherwise, it will be your responsibility to make any additional arrangements. All costs associated with additional arrangements are the responsibility of the Cardmember.

26. A third party vendor is responsible for services performed by Personal Travel Consultants in the Tailored Travel program and for Club Rewards Concierge Services.

27. Reservations for travel with airline certificates must be booked 14 days prior to the date of departure. See clubrewards.dinersclubus.com for specific blackout dates. All taxes and fees assessed at the time of ticketing are the responsibility of the passenger. Certificates are valid for flights with specific airline carriers only and are not valid on codeshare flights.


Merchandise and Gift Certificates / Gift Cards

28. Delivery of merchandise and gift certificates/gift cards shown in the Club Rewards catalog will be made by UPS or first-class mail whenever possible and will ordinarily take approximately two to four weeks from time of order. Items that are delivered direct from the manufacturer will take approximately six to eight weeks from time of order. You will be notified of any delays by phone call. Merchandise shipments cannot be made to a post office box. Not all merchandise items are available outside the continental United States. Areas such as Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands may require additional shipping and handling charges to fulfill merchandise orders. Recipients of alcoholic beverages must be over 21 years of age. Some merchandise rewards may require assembly.

29. For items covered by a manufacturer’s written warranty, a copy may be obtained, free of charge, upon request by writing to Club Rewards, P.O. Box 173358, Denver, CO 80217, or by calling 800-234-4034.

30. A per-item handling fee applies to all items showing a weight. Handling fees cannot be changed or altered once the order is placed.

31. Certificates/Gift Cards redeemed through Club Rewards will not be honored retroactively in connection with any prior purchases.

32. Certificates/Gift Cards will be redeemable at full face value for six months from the date of redemption. Certain providers of certificates/gift cards charge fees for inactivity. Accordingly, Diners Club can only guarantee certificates will be redeemable at full face value (i.e. no deductions for inactivity) for six months from the date of redemption.


Returns Policy

33. Merchandise shown in this catalog carries a 100% satisfaction guarantee for six-months from the date of redemption. This does not apply to computers or perishable items.

34. Items returned must be unused and undamaged and in their original shipping containers. Do not return an item or shipment without contacting Diners Club first. Items returned without the consent of Diners Club will violate this return policy. Diners Club reserves the right to refuse to exchange merchandise and refuse to return Club Rewards points if an item is returned without adhering to this return policy.

35. Frequent Flyer miles or Guest points, travel certificates and gift certificates are not exchangeable, refundable, or redeemable for cash or credit under any circumstances, and are not replaceable in the event of loss or destruction after being issued. Frequent flyer miles, guest points and some certificates are not extendible or transferable.


General

36. All services and merchandise supplied is from third party vendors who are the sellers of the services or merchandise. Only the seller is responsible for services and merchandise supplied.

37. This Catalog supersedes all previous Club Rewards Catalogs and brochures. Program pricing and point conversions are reviewed on an annual basis. Changes are at the sole discretion of the Diners Club.

38. Club Rewards, as described in this Catalog, is a benefit available only to Diners Club Charge, Diners Club Company, Diners Club Corporate, Diners Club Carte Blanche and Diners Club Montage Card Accounts issued by Citibank USA, N.A. (as defined by Diners Club) and enrolled in Club Rewards. Certain Corporate Accounts are not eligible to participate in Club Rewards.

39. All Club Rewards selections are subject to availability. Diners Club reserves the right to discontinue selections or make substitutions of equal or greater value without advance notice when necessary. Club Rewards offers are void where prohibited by law.

40. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information in this Catalog is accurate. Diners Club is not responsible for errors or omissions.

41. The point value for all rewards shown in this catalog includes applicable sales tax and shipping. Federal or state income tax, liability, and any other federal, state, or local taxes are the responsibility of the Cardmember.

42. Corporate Cardmembers must call 800-234-4034 or go to www.dinersclubus.com to enroll in Club Rewards. Enrolled Corporate Club Rewards Cardmembers will be billed an annual Club Rewards fee. Club Rewards may not be available to some Corporate Cardmembers. To determine if your organization has approved your participation, please consult your travel manager or Club Rewards.

Enrollment is automatic for eligible Diners Club Charge, Diners Club Carte Blanche, Company Cardmembers and Montage Cardmembers having the Complete Benefits Package. There is no need to sign up for Club Rewards to participate. If you do not want to participate in the program, please call 800-234-4034.

43. Diners Club reserves the right to change the format or elements of Club Rewards, including fees or charges. From time to time, it may be necessary for Diners Club to alter certain aspects of the terms and conditions of Club Rewards without prior notification. No changes in the format or elements of Club Rewards are allowed by the Cardmember. If the Cardmember makes such changes, the Cardmember is solely responsible for any additional charges resulting from the changes. No cash or credit allowances due to these changes will be reimbursed to the Cardmember by Diners Club. Diners Club reserves the right to end the Club Rewards program with six months notice.

44. Should events beyond Diners Club’s control, such as, but not limited to, computer equipment or electronic data transmission failure, strikes, acts of God, civil disturbance, terrorism or war, materially affect our suppliers and our ability to perform, Club Rewards may be suspended or terminated.
