Citi Adds to Its EMEA Securities and Fund Services Team

London - June 14, 2011 – Citigroup has expanded its operational capabilities with two senior appointments in its Securities and Fund Services (SFS) unit within Global Transaction Services.

William F. Gibson has joined as a Managing Director and Head of EMEA Operations. Based in Dublin, reporting to Mary Fenoglio, Global SFS Operations & Client Delivery Head, Mr. Gibson is responsible for managing all SFS operations across the EMEA region, ensuring the successful daily execution of the business while driving the implementation of global and regional strategies. He brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and has a proven track record of successfully leading operations, IT, finance, compliance, and regulatory activities in a variety of organizations. Most recently he was the CEO of IVY Creek Associates, a consulting group for investment management firms. He previously served as CFO and Head of Operations & Technology for New York Life Investment Management and global COO at ING Investment Management.

Ian Boyland has joined as a Director and Head of Funds Services Operations for Luxembourg. Mr. Boyland will report to Paul Kilcullen, Head of Fund Operations for Ireland & Luxembourg. He has over 16 years of experience in the fund industry and joins from JP Morgan Luxembourg where he was Head of NAV Validation and Accounting Services. He previously held various roles in Fund Accounting, Client Services and Audit with Fidelity and Chase Manhattan Bank in Luxembourg, KPMG in Bermuda and Touche Ross & Co in Birmingham.
