Our local expertise
Citigroup's presence in Lebanon dates back to the 1950s. Since re-establishing its fully licensed Lebanon branch in 1996, the bank has been offering a full range of corporate and investment banking services, including traditional trade, lending and hedging products to major corporations and financial institutions operating in the country, as well as public sector entities. Today, Citi Lebanon also supports efforts to advance economic opportunity for underserved communities. This includes philanthropic grants from the Citi Foundation to local organizations working to address pressing issues like food insecurity and homelessness. Citibank operates as a branch of Citibank, N.A. and is regulated by the Central Bank of Lebanon.
