The Citi Foundation announced its first-ever Global Innovation Challenge in 2023. Through an open request for proposals this inaugural Challenge provided a total of $25 million to 50 community organizations to support the piloting or expansion of ideas and projects that address food security and strengthen the physical and financial health of low-income families and communities.
