Global Finance Recognizes Citi Latin America in 25 Categories of World's Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Banks in Latin America 2018 Awards

Citi received 10 regional sub-category awards and 15 country awards

Miami – Citi has been recognized by Global Finance magazine in the first round of the "World's Best Digital Corporate/Institutional Banks in Latin America 2018" competition, with 10 regional sub-category awards and 15 country awards.

Citi received 10 awards in the regional sub-categories of "Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Banks," including "Best Investment Management Services," "Best Trade Finance Services," "Best Online Portal Services," "Best Integrated Corporate Bank Site," "Best Information Security and Fraud Management," "Best Online Treasury Services," "Best in Mobile Banking," "Best in Social Media Marketing and Services," "Best Mobile Banking App," and "Most Innovative Digital Bank."

Citi also won the "Best Corporate/Institutional Digital Bank Award" in 15 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Mexico (Citibanamex).

Winners were chosen among entries evaluated by a world-class panel of judges at Infosys, a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing. Global Finance editors were responsible for the final selection of winners in the First Round. Winning banks were selected based on the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing digital customers, success in getting clients to use digital offerings, growth of digital customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from digital initiatives, and web/mobile site design and functionality. Category winners, such as Best in Mobile Banking were selected based on the relative strength and success of those web products and services.
