London – Citi has been awarded the Best Global Bank for Liquidity Management award by Global Finance magazine. The publication also named Citi's Cash Pooling solution as best in the world, as well as recognized Citi in a number of regional awards in Liquidity and Cash Management.
Joseph D. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance commented: "Global Finance chose Citi as Best Global Bank for Liquidity Management due to its leadership in liquidity management digitization, automation and client experience. Citi's new cash concentration tool, CitiDirect BE ® Cash Concentration, for example, is precisely the type of time saving solution that puts greater liquidity control in the hands of treasurers. In addition, the innovative way in which Citi Cross-Currency Sweeps combines cash concentration sweep capabilities with an automated currency conversion, is greatly positioned to help treasurers reduce their FX risk exposure, across their global banking structure."
Mark Smith, Global Head of Liquidity Management Services, Citi, commented: "We are incredibly proud to be recognized by Global Finance in these categories. We continue to ensure we are creating innovative solutions to help solve our client's pain points, enabling them to grow in this ever-changing real time world. Liquidity management for our clients continues to be a critical function to ensure they have liquidity at the right time, in the right place, in the right currency, ensuring their working capital remains as efficient as possible. We continue to build on this exciting solution offering in partnership with our clients."
