Sydney – Citi today announced it has re-signed Australian Paralympian Madison de Rozario as a Team Citi ambassador through 2024.
de Rozario, the recently crowned 2020 Paralympian of the Year, claimed three medals in Tokyo, including gold in the 800 metres T53 and Marathon T54.
Citi initially signed de Rozario as an ambassador in 2019 where she joined a roster of Para athletes around the world supported by Citi.
Chief Executive Officer at Citi Australia, Marc Luet said: "We are proud to have extended our partnership with Madison as a Team Citi Ambassador. Not only is she an exceptional athlete, but also a tremendous advocate for inclusion," Mr Luet said.
Last month, Citi announced it had become a founding partner of PARA SPORT, the International Paralympic Committee's new grassroots-to-high performance program that aims to change perceptions of people with disabilities and provide Para athletes and their member organisations with a platform to drive societal progress.
Being the founding partner of PARA SPORT is the latest step in Citi's long-standing commitment to Para sports, through various collaborations with the International Paralympic Committee, Move United, and 50+ para athletes over the past 10 years.
