GEORGETOWN, GUYANA – Citi marked the official inauguration of its new representative office in Guyana, celebrating its commitment to the nation’s economic progress at a reception hosted at the residence of Her Excellency Nicole D. Theriot, United States Ambassador to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and CARICOM.
The event was honored by the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana; The Honourable Brigadier Retired Mark Phillips, Prime Minister of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, and brought together key leaders from Guyana's and the Region public and private sectors to commemorate Citi's formal entry into one of the world's fastest-growing economies.
This inauguration solidifies Citi’s strategy to be the preeminent banking partner for institutions with cross-border needs, providing on-the-ground support in Guyana.
