Creating Change for Indigenous Youth
The Citi Foundation has partnered with AIME, a mentoring organisation working to end educational inequality between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, to implement the ‘Creating Change for Indigenous Youth' program.
The program supports Indigenous students to complete school and transition into a positive post school pathway of employment, university or further training, at the same rate or higher than their non-Indigenous peers.
Since its inception in 2005, AIME has rapidly expanded and evolved to become a global mentoring powerhouse, and made progress in ending educational inequality.
The Creating Change for Indigenous Youth Program will multiply the impact - both in terms of the number of lives we reached, and the extent of our impact upon each life. For the students involved in this project, we aim to continue to close the educational gap, unlock mindsets and accelerate change & entrepreneurship.
